Accessibility
This statement applies to AB Simulations, used for booking nursing simulation sessions.
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. Public pages — including the home page, sign-in pages, the account request form and this page — have been checked with automated testing and no issues were found at the time of the last check. That means most people should be able to:
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. "Partially conformant" means some parts of the site have not yet been checked, not that specific failures are known and left unfixed.
We've run automated accessibility scans (axe-core, covering WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2 A and AA rules) against the public pages: the home page, admin/academic/simulated-patient sign-in pages, account request, set password, this page and the privacy notice. No violations were found in the most recent scan.
We have not yet completed manual testing — keyboard-only navigation end-to-end, screen reader testing (e.g. NVDA, VoiceOver), or a full review of the signed-in admin, academic and simulated-patient dashboards. Automated tools catch a meaningful share of issues but not everything WCAG requires, so this shouldn't be read as a full conformance audit.
If you find a problem not listed here, or you need information in a different format, contact Behnam.jafari_salim@kcl.ac.uk. We'll aim to respond within 10 working days.
If you contact us about an accessibility problem and you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
This statement was prepared based on automated testing only, and hasn't yet been reviewed against a full manual WCAG 2.2 AA audit. It should be reviewed and re-published once manual testing (including of the signed-in dashboard areas) has been completed.
